The In-Residence Workshop Data Project was part of the university's commitment to continuous improvement. To understand student success in the Doctoral In Residence experience, we examined the following research questions relative to the College of Doctoral Studies In-Residence experience:
  • What differences, if any, exist in research progression between online doctoral students who attend In-Residence Workshops virtually and those who attend in person?
  • What differences, if any, exist in research progression between online doctoral students who attend differing numbers of In-Residences prior to starting their dissertation/ADP Planning courses?
  • What differences, if any, exist in research progression between online doctoral students who attend In-Residence Workshop IV virtually and those who attend in person?

Learning Objectives:
  1. Understand factors that may influence doctoral research milestone success following participation in the Doctoral In Residence.
  2. Implement policy and practice recommendations for the Doctoral In Residence.
